Our jewelry is crafted with high-quality materials including 14K gold-fill, sterling silver, and genuine gemstones. Gold-fill is a thick layer of real gold bonded to a brass core — it's much more durable than gold plating and safe for sensitive skin. We also use freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, and ethically sourced diamonds in select pieces.

14K gold-fill contains 5% or more of solid gold by weight, bonded under heat and pressure to a base metal. This is 50-100x more gold than gold plating. With proper care, gold-fill jewelry can last a lifetime without tarnishing or flaking, making it an excellent alternative to solid gold at a fraction of the price.

We offer a free printable sizing guide on each product page that requires sizing. For rings, you can also measure a ring that fits well — measure the inside diameter in millimeters and compare to our size chart. For bracelets, wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist and add 1/2 inch for a comfortable fit. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

To keep your Golden Threads pieces looking their best: remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising. Store pieces individually in a soft pouch or the box they came in. Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, and harsh chemicals. Gently polish with a soft microfiber cloth to restore shine. For sterling silver, use a silver polishing cloth if tarnishing occurs.

Every Golden Threads order comes in our signature gift box at no extra charge — a linen-textured box with a satin ribbon, perfect for gifting. For an extra special touch, you can add a handwritten gift note at checkout for free. We also offer premium gift wrap with dried flowers and a wax seal for $5.99.

We currently ship within the United States. We're working on expanding to international destinations. If you're outside the US, please contact us at hello@goldenthreads.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your order on a case-by-case basis.

Standard shipping takes 5-10 business days and is free on orders over $75 ($5.99 otherwise). Express shipping takes 2-3 business days for $12.99. All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

We offer returns for store credit only. You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and mail the item back within 2 days. Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition. A restocking fee applies ($12 per item for orders under $100, or 20% for orders $100+). Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. No returns or exchanges on bangles/kadas. Yes! Our gift boxes are made from recycled materials and are fully recyclable. Our shipping boxes are made from recycled cardboard, and we use recycled tissue paper and biodegradable packing peanuts. We're committed to minimizing our environmental footprint at every step.
