By accessing or using the Golden Threads website (goldenthreads.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our website.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the site
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the site

3. Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Products and Pricing

We strive to display our products and prices as accurately as possible. However:

• Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and photography
• As handcrafted items, slight variations between pieces are normal and part of their charm
• Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders placed at incorrect prices
• Product availability is not guaranteed and items may sell out

5. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of purchase.

An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. We may cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timelines are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. For full shipping details, see our Shipping & Returns page.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns are subject to our return policy as described on our Shipping & Returns page. Returns are for store credit only. You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery and ship items back within 2 days. Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition. Restocking fees apply ($12 per item for orders under $100, or 20% for orders $100+). Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. No returns or exchanges on bangles/kadas. Store credit is issued within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, images, graphics, logos, product designs, and software — is the property of Golden Threads or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Threads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Golden Threads and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
