Return & Damage Policy
At Golden Threads, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Below, you'll find our policies regarding shipping, returns, damages, and other scenarios to ensure clarity and fairness.

- Signature required for orders over $150
All orders are processed within 1 – 2 business days. Orders placed after 2 PM EST or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day.
We currently ship within the United States. For international shipping inquiries, please contact us.
Return Policy
We offer returns for store credit under the following conditions:
Item Condition
- The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as delivered.
- Used or worn items will not be accepted.
Return Notification
- Notify us of your return request within 24 hours of receiving the item (based on delivery date).
- Mail the item(s) back to us within 2 days of delivery.
Shipping Costs
- Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Once shipped, email us at support@goldenthreads.com with the tracking number.
Restocking Fees

Exceptions
No returns or exchanges on bangles/kadas.
Please ensure you select the correct size before placing your order. Refer to our Sizing Guide for help.
Refund Timeline
Refunds (store credit only) will be processed within 7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned items.
Packing Guidelines for Returns
To ensure safe transit and eligibility for a return:
Pack items as received: Use the original gift box, white cushions, and secure the packaging in a bubble mailer.
Refunds will not be issued if items are improperly packed or damaged during return transit.
Damaged Items in Transit
We carefully inspect and securely package each item, but damages during transit can occur. If an item arrives damaged:
Notification
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- Provide an uninterrupted opening video showing the package and all items inside.
- Email the video and a photo of the damaged item to support@goldenthreads.com.
Replacement or Credit
- We will offer to replace, repair, or issue store credit for the damaged item.
- Without an opening video, we cannot process damage claims.
Shipping the Damaged Item Back
- Damaged items must be shipped to us within 2 days of receiving our email instructions.
- Replacements will be sent within 5 days of receiving the damaged product.
Shipping Liability
Lost or Stolen Packages
- Once the tracking number is shared, live tracking is available. If the package is marked as “delivered” but not received, contact USPS/UPS immediately.
- We are not responsible for lost/stolen packages. It is the customer's responsibility to add insurance to their package.
Returned Packages
We are not responsible for packages returned to us due to the following:
- Incorrect address provided
- Full mailbox
- Change of address not communicated
- Packages returned by USPS/UPS for any other reason
If a returned package is lost in transit, the customer must follow up with USPS/UPS directly.
Insurance
Customers can request to add insurance by contacting us at support@goldenthreads.com.
How to Start a Return
Notify Us
Email support@goldenthreads.com within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
Ship It Back
Pack the item in its original packaging with cushions and bubble mailer. Ship within 2 days and send us the tracking number.
Receive Store Credit
Once we receive and inspect the item, store credit will be issued within 7 business days (minus any applicable restocking fees).
